Fiber to G.hn Access

MaxLinear’s G.hn Access ICs enable delivery of multi-gigabit content over the last mile to the home using existing phone line or coax cabling. These ultra-broadband access solutions enable telecom and cable operators to deliver gigabit-speed data services ideal for IPTV, video on demand (VOD) and web traffic applications. The G.hn Access baseband processors and analog front-end chipsets are fully ITU compliant and deliver the highest performance in the market.

MaxLinear offers two turn-key software packages designed to address the requirements of most common last-mile access scenarios:
- Spirit G.now(tm): This software package is optimized for last-mile networks operating over phone lines. Spirit G.now includes VectorBoost(tm), a cloud-based solution for crosstalk mitigation that can scale from single-port DPUs to high-density MDU deployments with hundreds of subscribers.
- Spirit P2MP: This software package enables Point to Multi-Point operation in coaxial cable networks, with advanced per-user capacity provisioning and Quality of Service (QoS)

Both Spirit G.now and Spirit P2MP are designed to run on the same 88LX515x/88Lx27xx chipsets, providing system vendors with the flexibility to address different last-mile markets with the same silicon platform.
