The MxL258 is a single-chip, integrated tuner and demodulator receiver that targets digital TV, singe/multi-channel STB, USB/WiFi adapter, and WiFi/wired system applications for the global digital cable standard ITU-T J.83 Annexes (A, B, and C) or an OOB channel.
- Cable tuner capable of receiving QAM channels from 44MHz to 1006MHz, or OOB channels from 70MHz to 130MHz
- Single RF input
- OOB demodulator output using SCTE 55-1 and SCTE 55-2 standards, with CRX and DRX signals
- OOB FEC lock status available in SCTE 55-1 and SCTE 55-2 modes
- Dual-channel PVR STB
- Quad-channel PVR STB
- QAM gateway
